Bet both sides of one market and lock in the profit either way
Locktopus compares every sportsbook's price on both sides of a market and surfaces the pairs where the combined odds return more than the total stake. Each opportunity shows the ROI, the two books, and exactly how much to place at each so the profit is the same whichever side wins.
- 1% minimum ROI on both legs
- Exact stake for each leg
- Sportsbooks only, no exchanges
- Deep links to both books
How the Arbitrage Finder works
From a full odds board to two bets you can place right now
- 1
Compare both sides across books
For every market we take each sportsbook's price on each side and look for a pair of books whose combined implied probability comes to less than 100%. That gap is the arbitrage.
- 2
Size the two legs
Stakes are split in proportion to each leg's implied probability so both legs return the same amount. The bet sizes on the board are worked out from the bankroll you set in Settings.
- 3
Place both bets
Each leg links straight to its sportsbook with the stake on the button. Place the side more likely to move first, then lock in the other before the odds change.
What is on the board
Every column exists to make the pair checkable before you bet
ROI on every row
The return as a percentage of your total stake, sortable so the biggest gaps sit at the top. Only pairs returning at least 1% make the board.
Editable stake calculator
Type a total, pick a $50 to $500 preset, or enter one leg's stake and the other is re-derived so the returns stay equal. Handy when a book caps your bet or you already placed one side.
Sportsbooks only
Exchange quotes can sit far from a fair price, so Novig, ProphetX, Kalshi and Polymarket are never used for an arb leg. Every pair is between two sportsbooks you can actually bet.
Your books, your sports
Choose the sportsbooks you hold accounts at and the leagues you follow. Every arb-eligible sport is on by default, and you can narrow by team or search a player or market.
Game lines and player props
Moneylines, spreads, totals and player props all qualify. The Market column tells you exactly which line and which side each leg is on.
Every book's price, one click away
Expand a row to see every sportsbook's odds on each side, so you can confirm the gap is real and pick a different second book if one has already moved.
Want more edges than two books will line up for? Try Positive EV
Arbitrage needs both books to disagree at the same moment and pays a small, certain return. Positive EV takes one side against a devigged fair price, so there are far more opportunities and the edge shows up over volume instead of on each bet.
Who Arbitrage is for
Bettors with several sportsbook accounts
An arb needs two books, and you have to be able to bet both. The more accounts you select in the Books filter, the more pairs the board finds.
Anyone who wants certainty over volume
You are not waiting for a sample of bets to prove the edge. Each pair pays the same whichever side wins, so the return is fixed the moment both legs are placed.
People who can act quickly
Windows close as books move. The board refreshes on demand and sorts by ROI so the best live pair is always at the top, and each leg is one tap from the bet slip.
Frequently asked questions
What is arbitrage betting?
Arbitrage betting is placing a bet on every outcome of a market at different sportsbooks, sized so the combined return is more than the total stake whichever outcome happens. It works because books often disagree on the same market, opening small pricing gaps.
How is Arbitrage different from Positive EV?
Arbitrage bets both sides at two books and locks in a return on every single bet, typically a small one. Positive EV bets one side against a devigged fair price and profits over a large sample. The Arbitrage board only lists pairs returning at least 1%; Positive EV lists any edge of 1% or more.
How are the bet sizes worked out?
Each leg's stake is proportional to its implied probability, so both legs return the same amount. The board sizes them from the bankroll you set in Settings, and the calculator lets you type a total or one leg's stake and re-derives the other.
Why does the board only use sportsbooks?
Exchange quotes on Novig, ProphetX, Kalshi and Polymarket can sit a long way from a fair price and may not be fillable at size, so they are never used as an arb leg. Every pair on the board is between two sportsbooks.
How quickly do arbitrage opportunities disappear?
Quickly. An arb exists only while two books disagree, and books move their lines as they take action. Place both legs as soon as you find a pair, starting with the side more likely to move.
Will sportsbooks limit my account for arbing?
They can. Sportsbooks may limit accounts that consistently arb. Mixing in ordinary bets and avoiding very small or obscure markets can help extend how long an account stays open.
Is arbitrage betting risk-free?
No. The maths locks the return only if both legs actually fill at the prices shown. A line can move before you place the second bet, a book can cap your stake, or a leg can be voided, and any of those leaves you with one-sided exposure. Place the side more likely to move first.
Which plan includes Arbitrage?
Arbitrage is part of the Pro plan and up. Signed-out visitors and Basic subscribers see a limited preview of the board.
