Locktopus
Positive EVPro plan and up

Find every bet the market says is underpriced

Locktopus strips the vig from every two-sided market, works out the fair probability, and lists the sportsbook lines paying more than that. You get the edge, the fair odds, and a quarter-Kelly stake for each one. No spreadsheets, no guessing.

  • 30+ sportsbooks scanned
  • Devigged fair price
  • Quarter-Kelly stake sizing

How Positive EV works

The same math a sharp uses, run on every market at once

  1. 1

    Devig the market

For each market we take the two-sided prices from the books that set the market and remove their margin. What is left is the fair probability of each outcome.

  2. 2

    Compare every book against fair

Each sportsbook's price is converted to an implied probability and measured against fair. Any line paying more than the fair odds carries positive expected value.

  3. 3

    Rank, size, and bet

Opportunities with at least 1% EV are ranked by edge. Each shows the best book, the fair odds, a quarter-Kelly stake for your bankroll, and a link straight to the bet.

Built for bettors who care about the number

Everything on the board is there to make the edge legible

Fair and sharp odds on every row

See the consensus of efficient books and the no-vig fair odds side by side with the best price, so you know exactly what the edge is measured against.

Only the books you can bet

Pick your sportsbooks once and the board only shows edges you can actually take. Expand any row to see every book's price on both sides.

Market width filter

Cap how far apart a book prices the two sides. A tight market means the book is confident, so an edge against it is more likely to be real.

Stake sizing built in

The Stake column applies the Kelly Criterion at 25% to the edge and your bankroll. Set your bankroll once in Settings and every row is sized for you.

Game lines and player props

Moneylines, spreads, totals and player props across NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, soccer and more, all in one ranked list you can filter by sport and market.

Suspicious lines flagged

An edge far above what real markets produce usually means a book posted a bad line. Those rows are marked so you can check before you bet.

Want fewer, bigger edges? Try Prop Outliers

Positive EV shows every line beating fair by 1% or more. Prop Outliers raises the bar to 10% and measures against the market average, surfacing only the props where a single book is badly off.

Who Positive EV is for

  • Bettors moving beyond picks

If you want a repeatable process rather than a hot take, +EV betting is the process. The edge shows up over hundreds of bets, not one.

  • Line shoppers with several accounts

The more books you can bet, the more edges the board finds. Every row tells you which of your books to open.

  • Anyone who tracks results

Log a bet from the board to My Bets and see the closing line value on it later. CLV is the fastest way to know your edge is real.

Frequently asked questions

What is a positive EV bet?

A positive expected value bet is one where the odds a sportsbook offers are better than the true probability of the outcome. Bet those consistently and you profit over a large sample, even though individual bets still lose.

How does Locktopus calculate the fair price?

We take the two-sided prices from the books that set the market, remove the vig to recover each outcome's fair probability, and compare every sportsbook's price against it. The board only lists lines with at least 1% expected value.

How is Positive EV different from Prop Outliers?

Positive EV measures against a devigged fair price and shows every edge of 1% or more, on game lines and player props. Prop Outliers measures against the market average, only lists player props, and only shows edges of 10% or more.

Which sportsbooks are included?

Over 30 sportsbooks and exchanges, including FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, bet365, ESPN Bet, Fanatics, Novig and ProphetX. You choose which of them the board scans for the best price.

How is the recommended stake worked out?

The Stake column uses the Kelly Criterion at 25% Kelly, based on the size of the edge and the bankroll you set in Settings. A bigger edge means a larger stake; the default bankroll is $10,000.

Do I need an account at every sportsbook?

No. Tell us which books you use and the board only shows edges at those books. Adding more books simply means more opportunities.

Which plan includes Positive EV?

Positive EV is part of the Pro plan and up. Signed-out visitors and Basic subscribers see a limited preview of the board.
